29 Questions and Answers

Qs 28 & 29  and their answers are profound

27. What is the difference between inquiry and meditation?
Inquiry consists in retaining the mind in the Self. Meditation consists in thinking that one’s self is
Brahman, existence-consciousness-bliss.

28. What is release?
Inquiring into the nature of one’s self that is in bondage, and realising one’s true nature is release.

"There is no such thing as mind, the nature of mind is thought!"

Brilliant ePamphlet @ http://www.mintzberg.org/sites/default/files/rebalancing_society_pamphlet.pdf

Read the whole thing and love the integration between Private and Public Organisations, the Right and Left and the importance of the third way/leg achieved through the plural civic/civil community where the whole of the many becomes more than the parts of the collections of individual drives and desires.

Bernadette Roberts Interview with Stephan Bodian

Found this interview @ http://www.spiritualteachers.org/b_roberts_interview.htm

Interview with Bernadette Roberts Reprinted from the book Timeless Visions, Healing Voices, copyright 1991 by Stephan Bodian (www.stephanbodian.org). In this exclusive interview with Stephan Bodian, (published in the Nov/Dec 1986 issue of YOGA JOURNAL), author Bernadette Roberts describes the path of the Christian contemplative after the experience of oneness with God.

I loved the clarity and challenge to convention - the congruence of Bernadette's "experience" illuminates the truth of her understanding.
